From July 1st, 1957, there had been two owners of Pates, Cloyde Pate followed by the Gardner family of Chatham. Enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day multi course dinner with my lovely wife. The view, food and service couldn’t have been better. Certainly one of the finer restaurants on the cape if not MA. We have dined here before but we forget just how wonderful this place is. Staff (includes chef, food prep) couldn’t have been more spot on. Enjoy

Delightful! As locals here for the first time, we had heard that it was noisy and out-of-this-world expensive. We found neither to be true. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening, the pace of service, and our server Amy was excellent.
