Taking hospitality back to its roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team breathing new life back into the heart of the community. The menu will offer daily, hyper-seasonal specials, and plenty of British game, meat and fish. Executive chef and owner, Jamie Dobbin is passionate about local sourcing and traditional dishes, such as Half dozen Porthilly rock oysters with shallot dressing, Brixham King scallops with burnt butter cauliflower and caviar or Portland hogget Shepherd’s pie with grilled cutlet. Serious meat lovers can expect 45 day aged native and rare breed steak on offer as well as a hero dish of Beef Wellington for two. As always an excellent meal perfectly served. What was special this evening was that I asked for a specific sized portion and that is exactly what was served! Perfect. Will be back enjoying another excellent meal very soon.

I have been meaning to try this place for too long. What a gem!! The fact it was packed on a Tuesday night when other restaurants in Fleet high street weren’t says something. Great food and great service. The salad presentation with the meat dishes was outstanding. Yeah it’s a bit noisy as it’s family orientated mid week and lots of birthday celebrations. Big conservatory area a tad cold but it was 2 oC outside. Will definitely be coming back
