Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe. We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that! Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation. Each dish composition and presentation from the bites through the appetizers to the main course is outstanding, the pairing of the fresh ingredients are exceptional. If you want to treat your taste buds beyond the standard good experiences and you consider yourself a gourmand food lover this is the RIGHT place for you. The atmosphere and surroundings in the restaurant is pleasant. The restaurant was quiet even when was almost full. The staff is knowledgeable about their menu items and very very helpful and friendly.

We love this place, it's a special occasion place for us but we really should go more often. The food is outstanding, the presentation amazing, the staff are so kind and considerate. The blends of the dishes are well thought out, and the portion sizes just perfect. Truly amazing small 'hole in the wall' restaurant. Worth every penny.

We had a exceptional birthday dinner for my daughter’s 8th bday. The view, food, ambiance, service… all remarkable and unforgettable. Our server is very knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant. He even sang a Happy Birthday song twice (French and English). Definitely a place to be for intimate and private dinner. Highly recommended
