The venue is light & airy with plenty of space between tables. The staff were very polite & well trained & the food, which was delicious, was served on time. We’ll definitely be back.Più informazioniGino D’Acampo NewcastlePrezzo: caro• Italiana• Newcastle upon Tyne•4,2

The staff are very friendly and helpful to make sure you get the best experience, great atmosphere and the food is outstanding! This was our third visit and it’s been superb all three times! I highly recommend the French quarter to anyone, especially anyone looking for the best French restaurant! Already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks again!Più informazioniThe French QuarterPrezzo: caro• Francese• Newcastle upon Tyne•4,8

We had the nine-course menu, the alternatives being a six-course and vegetarian six and nine-course alternatives. One great thing is that, not being oyster-lovers, one can swap out a course that doesn't appeal for a veggie alternative. Service is attentive but without crowding, and friendly rather than stiffly formal, which we like. Every course was a masterpiece in taste and presentation, and we've eaten worse in Michelin-starred places at twice the price. Wine starts at under £30 a bottle, but you can push the boat out and pay far more. So not a cheap place but very good value, and with excellent waiting staff.Più informazioniSix BalticPrezzo: caro• Britannica contemporanea• Newcastle upon Tyne•4,7

The restaurant was not busy when we arrived and enjoyed the background music. Service was very good and we asked if we could mix and match between the menu’s and they said it was fine to do that. We ordered the fish platter to share which was really nice. I ordered the fillet steak, it was perfectly cooked to the way I like it and the chips were amazing, I ordered the beef dripping jus which was delicious. My husband ordered the corn fed chicken, again this was delicious. We had no room for desert so can’t comment on that. My husband also had the larger brewed onsite which he said was very nice. Only fault I would say is they put a service charge of 10% on your bill but it is explained it is not mandatory. Definitely will be back.Più informazioniBlackfriars RestaurantPrezzo: caro• Britannica• Newcastle upon Tyne•4,6

We decided to mark the occasion by having the T-bone steak to share - we realised that neither of us had ever had that cut before - and I can't imagine it could be better. The meat was perfectly cooked, the blue cheese salad was delicious, it was a memorable dish. The starters were excellent as well - can't say much about the desserts because all we were capable of by that stage was lemon sorbet each! When we arrived there was only one other table occupied, but it soon filled up and was a really good atmosphere. Staff were all friendly and efficient. A bit pricy, but it was a birthday lunch and definitely worth it!Più informazioniThe Broad CharePrezzo: caro• Britannica• Newcastle upon Tyne•4,8
