Friendly personal service in a lovely village pub setting. Complimented by a regularly updated menu made from locally sourced ingredients that reflect seasonal availability. An inspired twist on standard 'pub grub'. On the current menu 'The Piggy' is highly recommended! As always, an amazing job by Jeremy and team.

We had a fabulous evening, staff were wonderful as usual, attentive and friendly, the food was brilliant and the ambience was festive and happy without being overpowering!

Birthday lunch was great. Service was very attentive. The vegetarian option on the Prix Fixe was a mushroom cassoulet but it certainly didn’t look like mushrooms although we were assured it was. The vegetarian diner in our party ate everything else in the dish apart from the mushrooms.

I took my partner for her birthday last night. I have eaten there before and it was good, so expected the same. Food was excellent, both had steaks, cooked perfectly to our liking , chips, excellent, accompanying veg dishes, also excellent. Deserts were equally good, and GF options availabe on many dishes. Good choice of wines, and the one lad who was working was also ecxellent, very polite and attentive, nice table on its own, had a very nice evening,thanks
