Sète (named after the coastal town in France) is a wine bar, shop, and kitchen. Our doors opened to the wine bar in October 2022 and the restaurant and garden in July 2023. The seasonal menu focuses on modern European cooking with a heavy French influence, highlighting the best produce Kent has to offer. Wine is certainly at the heart of what we love. With an ever evolving list that highlights old world classics, accessible natural wines, female winemakers and exciting next generation vintners. It was our first visit and it was delightful. The host was very friendly and had a nice chat with my husband about football. As it was our first visit, he explained how the small plate system worked. The young lady serving us was very friendly and efficient. We had some lovely food. Even though they are small plates, we had enough to eat. The chocolate and ginger tart was a singing combination!!! Will definitely go again.

Fabulous Sunday Roast & service our only problem was our table was right next to the door to the outside garden which was constantly being open With people going out for a cigarette, in future I’ll Book by calling & not using this apt as it doesn’t give you the option of where you would like your table ( if possible not by the back door ).
