Carlton Wine Room is a neighbourhood restaurant offering a well-executed, fresh, seasonal food menu, and an ever changing, diverse wine list featuring the best of Italy, Australia and the rest of the World. We offer a bar space, an upstairs restaurant dining room and three unique spaces that are can be booked for private dining perfect for special events.RESERVATIONS: are for a two hour sitting. We do not accept bookings for drinks and snacks, however we accept walk-ins for this if space permits. A surcharge of up to 1.2% applies to credit card transactions. A surcharge of 10% applies on Sundays and 15% on Public Holidays. I love this place. The food is excellent. Really, really great food. Rustic and classy. Tasty and fresh. The staff are attentive without being in your face. The wine selection is terrific.

Food was excellent unfortunately very small space our table was too close to the loud table of 4 next door. Wines by the glass disappointing and very expensive.

We had a group of friends from various parts of Victoria and chose Watsonia RSL for location convenience. Absolutely everything was outstanding, food, service and position of table that allowed our group to enjoy each other's company. Many thanks Watsonia RSL hope to be back.

Fantastic service from waitress and great food eaten. Generous serves and perfect time frames from arriving, drinks, entree, mains, dessert. Could not fault and will return for sure.

Excellent food, and superb wine list by the bottle. Relatively minor quip: Wines served by the glass were more glou glou for the most part(as is often the case). Would have loved to see the option to have something Coravined and offered by the glass or carafe - or maybe at least offer some 375s? Too bad I was not there with a large party so we could order a couple of bottles.
