We are excited to bring our dream to a reality along with friends and family. We plan to share our love and knowledge of an industry that we are so passionate about and proud to be a part of in our hometown of New Brunswick. Here at Salt, we are creating a modern oyster bar with a hip vibe serving up a large variety of fresh local oysters, as well as oysters from around the US. We will offer a seafood inspired seasonal menu both in our casual bar and our elegant dining room. We will also offer many innovative dishes including a variety of local meats along with plenty of vegetarian options. We aim to create an inviting atmosphere for everyone with our warm décor and friendly staff. Our full bar will feature a variety of signature cocktails and revolving creative small plates. Chef Chris’ passion for food promises consistent exceptional quality and to awaken the palate with bold, fresh flavors in every bite!

Join us for a tasting or cocktail made with our grain to glass spirits. We do not have a kitchen, but you can bring your own food or order in. Enjoy a cocktail outdoors on our sunny patio (weather dependent, cold after sundown, must request in notes), watch the bartenders at work in our tasting room bar area, or relax in the upstairs cocktail lounge overlooking the distillery. Table assignements are made soley based on group size and availability. We are unable to accomodate small groups at larger tables due to our limited seating capacity. You may request specific seating in your booking but we cannot guarantee availability. We will not combine multiple reservations. No standing room. Groups of >10 MUST call/text 609-578-9874 to book. For first floor or ADA seating please write a note when making your reservation. The second floor is only accessible via stairs. Last call 30 minutes before close. Outstanding menu, specials, desserts, and service! Wow, I went with the whole grilled branzino entree which is not my usual. But it was absolutely amazing. Kudos to the entire staff from the hosts and servers who provided excellent service.

Good friends recently moved to Somerset NJ, requiring us to come up with a place to dine ---what a find! Frog and Peach is perfect: great food, service and relaxed ambience. Tucked away in the middle of "Georgetown" type new condos, this oasis has an interesting, unusual menu -- including a seasonal price fix $78 that looks great -- right now, it was a "Southern" menu with hush puppies, BBQ etc that is not to our liking. Special appie Veggie Raviolo was terrific, as was the freshly baked bread on- site. Caccio e Pepe was ok, but could have been more "saucy" and peppery for me, and a bit less al dente. Duck was delicious. We realized that New Brunswick is only a short ride from Somerset and plan to return for their well-known brunch!

Food was very tasty. Value is pretty good, still a good # of plates under $20. It was a Saturday night so quite loud. Staff was all courteous but they were really running to keep up with demand. Reservations a must on the weekends.

We had a delicious salad and lasagna. The service was great. The dining room is beautiful and there was a fireplace .
