The Plumed Horse Restaurant has been a beacon of South Bay fine dining since 1952. We, Hashiri Bettei Kaiseki Aoki, deliver the experience of “kaiseki ryori,” a type of Japanese fine dining which historically developed to be served in the Japanese tea room. The tea room, as a space, symbolizes the home of the Japanese tea ceremony, a simple yet transformative experience offering a pause in time to appreciate the seemingly small experience of sharing tea. As such, we’ve designed both the architecture and the experience, to condense an infinite expanse into an extremely small space.The space is designed sans distracting elements. Lighting will be subtle and architectural details are clean yet warm. We first curate the wine list which includes 65+ wines by the glass and then design a food menu that specifically complements the wine. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera who spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC. He then took his talents to Florida's Knife and Spoon, where he helped garner a coveted Michelin star. Greeted by the host who remembered us from last week! Delicious brunch - French toast and bacon and loaded omelette (large enough to feed three people). The Expresso Martini was to die for! We’ll continue to return to try more brunch dishes!

We used to go there all the time and stopped going about 8-9 months ago. Last time we were there the bartender was rude…. So we stopped going. We decided to give it another try, the bar area is very nice….and ….We had a great time, cocktails were great and portions were good size and bartenders were exceptional!!! If you haven’t been in awhile go…

My first visit to The Heid was a very pleasant one - it has a fine taste in decor and the whole Inn is in a lush green serene creek side setting. The appetizers/small bites were delicious and good to share with 2-4 people. We had Hummus, flatbread and charcuterie dishes. I and my friends were there during Happy Hour between 5 and 7pm when some beer and a couple of cocktail drinks were a few dollars off. I would go back and try their breakfast next time.
