Please note our Afternoon Tea is served Wednesday - Sunday from 13:00 - 16:30 and we ask you to pre-book to avoid disappointment. At Primitivo we pride ourselves on the quality and consistency of our food. We concentrate on fresh seasonal and local ingredients, buying directly from the markets in Birmingham. We have a small but well designed "open kitchen", so the menu is compact but offers good choice and changes regularly. The Restaurant menu consists of 6 starters, 8 main courses, side orders and homemade puddings. We would describe the food as Modern British with a strong Mediterranean influence. So, think roasted halibut with sunblush tomato mash and black pudding in the summer or a classic steak and kidney pudding in the winter months. The restaurant is intimate and stylish with high ceilings, gilt mirrors and exposed brickwork. It makes the perfect venue for business lunches, romantic dinners and family get-togethers.
