An amazing evening with a clever menu allowing you to pick and choose a range of dishes and flavours. The mackerel tart, was the first snack to arrive and set a really high bar that continued all evening. The cocktails were so well made and presented, but the highlight is the fun of the names given to them. An evening of great food, spritz and giggles!

A wonderful meal in a wonderful location. Staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Service was impeccable. Food was excellent and really good value for money. The pork loin was cooked to perfection and the black pudding was some of the best I've ever tasted. The potato rosti has gone into the top 3 potato dishes I've ever eaten - absolutely sublime. It was our first time here and it certainly won't be out last - an amazing hidden gem just outside Halifax.

Service from start to Finish was very good polite and friendly and helpful staff.

2.45pm Sunday dinner table. Drinks ordered - arrived super fast. Sourdough and chicken shmaltz- WOW. Genuinely, phenomenal MAIN - beef for one and celeriac for the other. The celeriac main may as well have been the beef. Tasted exceptional. Served with tremendous vegetables and a massive Yorkshire pudding. Wine, water, beer…and all for 80 quid + £10 for the service. All very well worth it.

Heard great things and it did not disappoint - we are both vegan, and they whipped up a special menu for us for the evening. Service was perfect, wine was great and food was executed perfectly - so much flavour. We will be coming back.
