9 of us were booked in for a girls meal and birthday catch up. Very good service throughout and the food is lovely, all home cooked. Make sure you ask for the evening set menu though, this is advertised on their website but not so much when you get inside the pub. This offers very good value with 2 courses for £17 or 3 for £22. It was that good I’ve booked another table for lunch in a couple of weeks! (They also do a lunchtime specials menu). Recommended.

A delicious meal in front of a roaring fire on a cold evening, amplified by great service, the perfect sticky toffee pud and dog friendly vibe. Our elderly lab adored all the fuss he received from the staff, particularly the barman, who seemed to give the best ear massages!

Fabulous service and extremely accommodating, as we arrived late to the hotel they made us feel welcome very quickly and offered us 2 different menus which was perfect. Great service and food - would highly recommend

This was my first visit to Bench .Thoroughly enjoyable evening from the moment we entered the restaurant until leaving. Just the right amount of interaction from the staff and super flavours and presentation from the kitchen .
