At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. Appetizer brussels sprouts were outstanding as well as the entrée diver, scallops over corn risotto, and some chorizo sausage was just enough sausage to complement the entrée. It was overwhelming. It was delicious. The Smashburger and homemade tomato bisque was outstanding. The dream martini the margarita excellent excellent. But of course it couldn’t have been as perfect as our wonderful, waitress Ashlee. she was seasoned knowledgeable and professional. She made our night perfect. We sat inside. The seats were comfortable. The ambience was outstanding. I would recommend this very very highly. If it wasn’t as windy we would’ve sat outside. It was a very delightful experience. We will come back again
