Nami Nori is a casual, Japanese restaurant specializing in open-style temaki hand rolls, located in Montclair. The menu features signature hand rolls, including crunchy varieties, as well as classic versions, and a special vegan section. This is my go to Restaurant anytime I’m visiting the city. Weather with friends or having a solo dinner the food and the service is always excellent! For every visit I generally like to try something new, so this evening I tried the Collard Green and Black Eyed Pea Succotash Salad w/ Shirmp along with my “go to”Grilled Oysters & Espresso Martini.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner here, and it was truly a memorable evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. The Thai dishes were absolutely delicious and authentically prepared, bursting with flavor in every bite. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful experience. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience with authentic Thai cuisine. We’ll definitely be returning!

The food was incredible . Umami for sure. The staff was also amazing. The woman who seated and served us was extremely helpful and attentive to everyone in the restaurant at once. She ran that room like a pro to say the least. It was New Year's day as well the place was packed on a holiday and the staff was taking care of a full restaurant and take-out orders that seemed non stop for the 90 minutes we were there. They earned and deserved the Michelin star. And I loved the sketches of the restaurant that were hung throughout the restaurant among the many old photos . Will definitely be back soon.
