We are currently serving our breakfast buffet 7 days/wk, from 7am - 10:30am. The price is $26, and it includes coffee, tea, or juice. We will not be serving lunch from 12/26 - 3/7, because of a large-scale hotel renovation happening during this period. We open for dinner at 5pm daily. The kitchen closes at 10pm daily. The bar will stay open 45 minutes after the kitchen closes on Sunday - Thursday, and on Friday and Saturday, last call is 11:45pm.Located under the glow of a Cambridge landmark and in the heart of Harvard Square, Nubar restaurant and lounge is now open at the Sheraton Commander Hotel. The food was delicious. We chose the 3 course fondue. They had gluten free bread for the cheese course. There are also many gluten free items to choose from.

While we realize that this is a new venture after Covid, Chopps used to be much better. Gone are the servers who brought you coffee, tea and assorted beverages, making it a truly cafeteria style atmosphere. This may be what some people like but after the original Chopps, we were subjected to a less than stellar experience for brunch. The scrambled eggs were horrible. Coffee and tea are served in paper cups at a station. The omelet station was manned by one gentleman who was pleasant but really didn't know that you fold an omelet before presenting it. Fruits and waffles were good, as were the bacon, sausage and cereals. Hard to goof those things up. I don't believe we'll be going back to his version of Chopps unless we hear they have made some adjustments to their presentation.
