Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. Was such a wonderful night. The restaurant was full but not so loud that you could not enjoy the conversation with your group. The food was outstanding. We could not stop talking about how cool it was that all of the ingredients came from the mid-Atlantic part of the USA. Service was wonderful. Cannot wait to go back again!

We have eaten at PLANTA multiple times and have always found it to be superb. We have also taken non-vegans there many times with fabulous results. We ate at the Bethesda location this past weekend with some long-term friends who wanted to try an all vegan restaurant. They could not stop glowing about it. We ordered multiple things off of each part of the menu and shared all of them. Each item was given a five star review which could be expected in my opinion. I really want to take them back for the brunch though because I cannot get that French toast out of my head.
