All our beef is hung for at least 21 days and our white fish is sustainable – so our Battered North Sea Haddock and hand cut chips is a favourite dish with great provenance, too. Having read some of the reviews I wasn’t sure this would be a great experience. It was the best afternoon tea I have ever had. Everything on the cake stand was fresh and delicious. The waiter was lovely, very good at his job. Being a Tuesday it was quiet but very enjoyable. The only downside was it was a little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for.
