Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. Omg nothing bad to say about this place AT ALL. Service was prompt, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I have tree nut allergies and my server knew exactly what dishes to recommend and those that can be modified. The interiors are warm and welcoming. AND the food- cooked to perfect with great tastes down to the very last bite. If you are looking for a thoughtful healthy vegan culinary experience that isn’t just overcooked vegetables or uninventive vegetarian “options” add this must have restaurant to your list!
