Our dream at Holy Basil was to create an exciting diner in the Eastern suburbs where people can relax, come together, have fun and enjoy proper homemade food in a very inclusive environment. We are proud to deliver 100% vegan and Vegetarian options at Holy Basil, use free-range eggs and source only sustainably caught seafood as well as a range of other exciting meals with 95% of the menu being gluten free.At Holy Basil we make our own curry pastes, sauces, desserts, chilli jam, and roti.We happily use gluten free soy and 100% pure fish sauce.We greatly appreciate your support in choosing to dine at Holy Basil. Our Croydon Taphouse is open to the public five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday. Enjoy a range of core and limited Dainton releases, as well as a locally-sourced cider, all expertly poured from our 14 custom taps.We've got a great selection of local wines and spirits, as well as a food menu that includes mouth-watering burgers and delicious share plates.We've always got something exciting happening, from weekly trivia nights to limited edition beer releases.Please note although there is some cover in the Beer Garden, if there is rain we will do our best to move you inside but we can't guarantee a table, also the tables for 2 are barrel tables with no cover. **Please note our kitchen closes at 7:30pm on Sundays**

    We had the Gluten free $45 cheese platter and added the Pate and paired it with bubbles, chardonnay, merlot along with what i think was a crunchy wine - All was fabulous

    The absolute best Thai food you will find anywhere in Melbourne. Delicious, fresh and different to most Thai restaurants. Owner and staff are friendly, inviting and very professional. Service is amazing!

    We had a table of 6 for the monthly Trivia Night which was lots of fun. The beers were cold, the steak cooked to perfection and the other dishes at the table - fish tacos, chicken parma, chicken pie and vegetarian pasta all looked great and were very tasty by all accounts. Have been there many times and will be back again. Always a great night.
