Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. The current dining room experience is an 8-course tasting menu honoring the Mid-Atlantic's bounty. We offer an additional 3-course experience at our bar and bar area tables. The best! We had an amazing time-delicious desserts and appetizers and the drinks! We opted for the prix fix which is a really good deal ($75) per person with plenty of food. I’m going to be thinking about this meal for awhile. Service was top notch

We ate at Mita for their unbelievable Tasting menu for my birthday. It was an absolute production from the moment we walked in until we were escorted out the door. We have eaten in 5 star Michelin restaurants in major cities all over the world, and Mita fits in every well with them. Each time we thought it couldn’t get any better, another amazingly creative, delicious dish showed up to wow our senses. The food was beautifully plated and the servers are experts at the placement and description of them. The entire experience was one for the record books. My birthday was perfect.

Was such a wonderful night. The restaurant was full but not so loud that you could not enjoy the conversation with your group. The food was outstanding. We could not stop talking about how cool it was that all of the ingredients came from the mid-Atlantic part of the USA. Service was wonderful. Cannot wait to go back again!

Great food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. And the specials are reasonably priced. Ordering ala carte could get expensive, but still great food.
