Welcome to The Red Lion Bishopgate!On the banks of the River Wensum and a stone's throw from Norwich Cathedral. We serve fresh, locally sourced food all day, everyday. Our head chef Tom has created a menu suitable for everyone, including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. Very attentive staff, lovely food all presented very professionally. Plenty of room between tables which is nice. Menu de jour excellent value with the addition of a couple of specials. Highly recommend.

Perfect menu for me being gluten free, loads and loads of choice, food was very fresh and service was excellent. I will be going back again and again.

Food was lovely. Shame they had run out of steak by 8pm. Staff were great and place was lovely. Tables were quite close in places but would go back.

This was well worth the long walk from our hotel in the rain. The service was friendly and the food absolutely delicious. We had the Love to Share platter followed by Gobi Manchurian with Black House Dhal and Pulav Rice. Very good value too.
