Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm.     Gia serves amazing plant-based Italian food with great service. Our drinks, appetizers, and meals came out quickly, and everything was spot on. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a tasty and smooth dining experience.

    Beautiful old home with upstairs and downstairs seating. We sat upstairs and the decor was gorgeous with great music in the background. The service was impeccable and the food was to match. A very enjoyable experience.

    A great tasting menu! With very innovative vegan dishes with unique ingredients. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and received a nice little surprise for dessert.

    Everyone (even the carnivore in the group) loved the meal. And ensured the celiac member was fully protected. Bang bang broccoli is a must. Love the lettuce wraps. Loved the cheesecake dessert. And perhaps my favourite thing was the mezcal cocktail with green garnish (name forgotten)- not sweet, great flavour. Excellent service

    Such a great experience- arrived early enough to have a happy hour app and drink which was a lovely way to kick off our meal (and super delicious). The mains were filling, creative and beautiful. Even my meat-eating friend was impressed. Can’t wait to go back!
