For the last 18 years, Joe Hennes and his wife Ellen have been building a family-oriented meeting place for friends to gather at Sloppy Joe's Saloon and Spoon in Hubertus. In December 2020, they purchased this property, and brought the philosophy of food, fun, and laughter from Washington County to Lake Country. This is an incredible gem. Food is fantastic and the service is amazing. The only challenge is that the dining room acoustics need to be addressed. It was a busy Saturday night with every table filled. It was incredibly hard to hold a conversation with our friends without seriously raising our voices.

Went at prime time on a Friday night and the place was packed. Had a 10 minute wait for our table so we bellied up to the bar and had a drink. Got seated right next to the windows with a nice view over the lake. Food was good, very large selection of items especially for a bar that serves food. Service was good. Definitely plan on coming back when the deck is open.

Who knew deviled eggs could taste so good and be so innovative? Loved the variety of ingredients used on the menu. The branzino was amazing! Definitely going back!
