The waiter was amazing, service was great couldn’t ask for better service or people. Food was absolutely amazing. I will be returning for sure love this place !!?

First time dining at the Five Fishermen in Halifax. We are visiting from Saskatchewan and had always wanted to spend an evening there. Our experience exceeded our expectations. The ambience was amazing. Kristen - our waitress - was wonderful. We had 2 Celiacs (must eat gluten free) at our table and she really went above and beyond to guide us through the menu and ensure that our meals were prepared safely. Most items were gluten free. We shared 2 appetizers between the 4 of us. For our main meals - and because they were out of fresh lobsters - she had the chef create a lovely gluten free lobster and scallop risotto for two of us - which wasn't on the menu...but was fantastic. The men had steak and a burger. I had a glass of wine and the men had 2 draft beer each. For $249.99 plus tip, that was a great experience and more than worth the cost. If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. Highly, highly recommend. Will return the next time I'm in town. Cheers from Saskatchewan!!

A wonderful Tibb’s Eve special menu and all the classics as well. Enjoyed a wonderful Newfoundland slush. The “Skink” was amazing.

Great first experience! Was recommended Bar Sofia from some co-workers and was not disappointed! Great atmosphere, great holiday decorations, friendly and prompt staff/service and food was very tasty!
