Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years. Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs. Another outstanding tasting menu at lunch time. My table of three was delighted with every delicious course, served by charming staff in a very light and comfortable restaurant with beautiful decor. It could not be faulted. Very much equivalent to a two star restaurant but bizarrely TFT does not appear on the list at all - seems strange with all the plaudits that this French restaurant receives.

The sushi was very high quality… but the sticks were so good we couldn’t pick a favourite- highlights were the oyster mushrooms, the scallops and the teriyaki salmon. Cocktails/mocktails were also very good with unusual herbal flavours not your usual over sugared type. Will definitely visit again.

The restaurant was extremely quiet due to the time of year and day of the week, but the customer service and food quality did not waver. The food was outstanding and the service we were given was above and beyond.
