Welcome to The Magpie. We pride ourselves as a beautiful riverside gastropub with an amazing dining room overlooking the Thames, serving fresh seasonal food with an impressive range of real ales, craft beers, an extensive gin list and a great wine list.We offer full table service in every part of our premises. We are a dog-friendly pub as long as they are with well-behaved hoomans but do not allow dogs in our dining area if you would like to bring a four-legged friend please let us know and we can seat you in our bar area. Luckily enough, we are lucky to have a car park just across the road if you are coming from afar. We are now an Over21 pub only, please bear this in mind.

Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years. Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs. Alongside the barbecue we are renowned for our incredible burgers - particularly our Burger of the Month (BOTM) which, as you can guess, changes every month. Had a lovely birthday meal at The French Table. We tried the tasting menu and each course didn’t disappoint, the wine pairings went so well with each course. The service there is also fantastic, attentive and friendly and they go out of their way to welcome you and explain each course and the wine. Big thank you to Emily and the team as they made the night even better.

Delicious Japanese BBQ and Tuna sushi and sashimi. Really nice. We celebrated birthday of a friend and the restaurant surprised us with marshmallow with candles.

Really lovely place for a celebratory birthday lunch - we were there til 5pm! We had a surprise guest who arrived late and the staff ensured that the birthday boy didn’t know, continued service regardless but also with the surprise in mind. The menu had so much to offer I couldn’t decide and wanted to try everything! We’ll definitely be back - loved it!
