"Betts" is a tribute to Elizabeth Schofield, wife of Captain Levi Schofield and our namesake. Betts is inspired by American dishes we all know and love but reinvented with a thoughtful approach. The menu focuses on freshness, quality and whole foods put out from a predominantly scratch kitchen. Unfortunately, they did not see our reservation when we arrived and the hostess seemed very annoyed. She didn’t take us to the table. She just pointed. It was also the waiter’s first official day and he had not learned any of the specials or the desserts. So he just to out the book and read to us. Food was tasty though and the atmosphere is very nice.

Our server was excellent. They were accommodating and gave us a quiet table in a separate fireplace room. Only somewhat negative was the portion of food was small. But really delicious
