Our menu is based on the principles of Royal Thai Cuisine but with a simple presentation and a strong emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients that give exceptional taste. We also follow the traditions of the best Thai restaurants of Bangkok, with à la minute preparations that allow our chefs to maximize the aromatic qualities of fresh Thai herbs and spices.We serve food from midday, along with a carefully chosen wine list, beers and spirits.In addition to A La Carte menu every day, we offer lunch box dishes, which are smaller portions of our favorites, served in a wooden ‘lunch box‘ daily 12-2:30 pm (excluding Sundays)The restaurant is also an Art Gallery setting which is always evolving as the artworks are sold and replaced with new pieces. Solanche, Richard and the rest of The Royal Oak team are extremely proud to offer Michelin starred dining in rural Warwickshire, on the edge of the Cotswolds.Our food offering is what we like to call ‘proper country food’- wild meats and foraged ingredients from our home area. Our aim is simple: we want to tell the story of our community, the producers themselves and how we’ve utilised their ingredients.Sometimes a dish will be on the menu for a six week period, fully celebrating the early or late season. Conversely a dish may be fleeting - a week, a service or even just for a single table of regulars - a micro-seasonal snapshot, which gets us thinking and talking with our local community of producers about next years planting or hunting, allowing us to dream about revisiting an idea and developing it further the following year.

Well everything was great until we had a load of loud customers come and sit next to us - we were having a date night and had not seen each other for several days. Can’t be helped …but sitting next to a Christmas party is never fun! ( but it pays the bills for the restaurant- everything else was as wonderful as ever!

Lovely friendly environment. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Food was outstanding. Drinks I feel are a little high priced but tends to be the way now with top restaurants. Will definitely book again
