It was the first visit of the year to our popular walking pub. As usual we had a good reception by the staff behind the bar. It was also a change in the menu as well which delighted some of our walking group members especially the Southern Indian curry. Service as usual was attentive and the food was excellent.

Roaring fire, delicious food, good service. What more can you ask for?

The second time we have eaten here and just as good as the first. Rather than the set menu (which was excellent on our first visit), we ordered a la carte this time as it was a birthday treat. My monk fish was delicious and my husband had the seafood curry which he really enjoyed. Desserts were light and refreshing and my husband had a candle and mini dessert plate for his birthday which was a thoughtful touch. Excellent service too - just the right amount - it was not intrusive at all. The cocktails are amazing too! Perfect venue for a special occasion.

The pub has a great ambience and is a pleasure to visit. Excellent food and service. We will definitely come here again.

Myself and 3 friends have a very enjoyable evening on Saturday. The reason I chose The Brasserie was that it had both vegetarian and gluten free options which we needed. Unfortunately there were no gluten free buns available for the burger and also no gluten free brownie. We all felt this was very disappointing and my friend who suffers from coeliac disease only had the starter she wanted available to her. It definitely was not gluten free friendly on Saturday night
