The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. The Anglesea Arms is found on Selwood Terrace in South Kensington, where Charles Dickens once resided at no. 11. The site was originally a market garden and nursery dating back to 1712. The beautiful traditional pub is a Grade 2 listed building, steeped in heritage from the local South Kensington area. The site today is a vibrant and iconic London venue, popular with locals and tourists alike, sporting a routinely bustling bar area, a beautiful garden terrace, along with a quiet & cosy dining room, all serving food all day out of our AA Rosette awarded kitchen.We are very happy for people to bring in dogs to the pub, but in our restaurant we run on a strict no dog policy.
