It was during this time that Manetta's was the favourite hangout for the cognoscenti from the worlds of literature and the arts who mingled with celebrated rakes and aristos. The clientele may have changed a little over time but the atmosphere still lives on, making Manetta’s one of the best cocktail bars in Mayfair.

The Drawing Room at Flemings Mayfair Hotel echoes elegance and grace in homage to the hotel’s 18th century origins. Having spent years supplying London’s top restaurants through their separate wine businesses, Joe Haynes and Benedict Butterworth have joined forces with Tom Hurst, who has worked at Brawn, The Marksman, Levan, and most recently as Head Chef at Lasdun, to launch the trio’s first restaurant together.Located in a Grade II listed building on Cloth Fair, Cloth Restaurant is part of a historic row of buildings in the City of London that survived the Great Fire of 1666. Down this atmospheric alley opposite St Bartholomew church, Cloth is taking over a double fronted corner site that’s beneath the former home of poet John Betjeman and next door to the two oldest residential buildings in London. Inside, low ceilings, wood floorboards with antique wall lights and artwork create a cosy, intimate atmosphere, while marble tables, long dark wood banquettes, antique crockery and cutlery will create the feel of a classic bistro.

The experience was outstanding and I wish I could give it 10 stars. The room is beautiful, the service was over the top and everyone enjoyed their meal. I felt like I stepped back in time in the elegant restaurant. The service team never rushed us and seemed genuinely happy to be there just for us. I don’t when I will be back in London but I will be sure to make another reservation to dine at Claridge’s Restaurant.

Cozy little hotel in the heart of Mayfair easy to reach… excellent tea setting, good food and one glass of champagne included! The scones were not exactly to my taste: I am more of a classic scone type. Service was excellent! Replaced tea twice, but a little hesitant when we requested a few more sandwiches which was strange considering we paid 5 star price for the experience? Overall quite satisfactory…

Came for cocktails, we had a wonderful evening. Great setting, fantastic bar staff - very welcoming and helpful. Delicious cocktails - London prices of course - but not extortionate, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will come again.

This was a very memorable experience. The food was spectacular and the staff was always there without being intrusive. Not an inexpensive dinner but well worth it
