Emelina's Peruvian Restaurant began in 2011 in a small location in the city of San Carlos. The loyalty and appreciation of our customers, as well as the good service and quality of our food, have allowed us to consolidate and expand our presence to other cities in the Bay Area. In 2023, Emelina's opened in Santa Clara and in 2024, a new location opened in San Jose. In June 2024, Emelina's Plus opened on historic Murphy Avenue in Sunnyvale. Wonderful service, great homemade food. Tomato soup was delicious. Our server a young man with blond hair was attentive and confirmed our order so everything was correct. Will be back!

We met friends, shared some small plates and had mains as well. All the dishes were delicious, with high quality ingredients (and we’re foodies who know how to cook)! We loved that it was quiet enough to converse. It is attached to a hotel in a somewhat off-the beaten path location but it’s worth a visit (and open on days when many restaurants are closed, like Mondays). The ambiance is very nice inside. A hidden gem!
