A beautiful warm and inviting country pub, complimented by exceptional service and incredible food. We walked from Henley through Harpsden Woods into Shiplake and enjoyed a fantastic lunch. Couldn’t fault anything. We have dined all over the area and it is so rare to find a place that delivers on all fronts. Cost, ambience, service and food second to none. Can not recommend enough and can’t wait for our next visit!

Top notch grub. Staff were having a nightmare with flood water but all handled with aplomb. Best roast in the Chilterns ?
