Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. South End was home to Charlotte’s first railroad line, connecting us to Columbia and Charleston, SC in the mid-1800’s. “Link & Pin” is an old railroad term. A “Link” was installed on one railcar then, as the two railcars were joined, a “Pin” was manually inserted into the other railcar’s link, holding the two railcars together. This was an excellent special event hosted by McNinch House with wine pairings from Laure Levesque of Queen of Wines in Durham. It was a fun social event along with great food, wine, and service. McNinch House is always Charlotte's premier restaurant and keeps getting better. We love coming here.

We had a party of five for Saturday brunch, but at the last minute, we changed to a party of seven. Despite it being a very busy day, the hostess was fantastic—she found a table to accommodate us without hesitation and with a warm smile. Her effort made our experience even better

Our food was very good. My wife, daughter, and I had the cottage pie, fish and chips, and patty melt with a side of Brussels sprouts. The food was hot and fresh. The service was great.
