In 1959, Frank and Tina D'Ambrosio decided to start a new restaurant venture along with their "Paisans" Mario and Enza Volpe, after Frank had much success with his first restaurant, the original "Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too! In Mountain View, CA. Named after a good friend of theirs, they opened the original "Giorgio's" in the Foxworthy Shopping Center in San Jose, CA. One year later, cousins Anthony and Louise Dambruoso, affectionately known to the family as "Sash and Lou", took control of the restaurant and ran it for the next eight years. Pictures and paintings of these folks still grace the walls of the establishment today. In 1968, Frank's four sons assumed control of the restaurant and still own and operate it to this day. In 1997 they opened a second location in Milpitas, CA, in 2023 another in Morgan Hill and now back in Mountain View, where they still offer the highest standard of quality food, service, and value to their customers. We had an amazing experience at Fleming’s! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding — so attentive and welcoming. The food was absolutely incredible, every dish cooked to perfection. It’s always a vibe here — great atmosphere, delicious food, and top-notch service.
If you're looking for a GREAT chef who makes you laugh and you laugh so hard you almost forget you're there to eat then ASK FOR MIKE. He blew us away. We had a fantastic time and we enjoyed it immensely!!!!
I ordered rabbit which I love and was very disappointed. It was grilled and was over cooked. Rabbit has no fat and should really be cooked in a sauce. There were pieces of rabbit that were not grilled but they were tough. Even the chard stems were hard to eat..they were undercooked. The sides, red cabbage and schpetzle were delicious. The butter lettuce salad had very little dressing and not much flavor. My companion ordered the Pork chops..it was delicious and HUGE. We were there on a Monday night. I would go again and order something more Austrian.
Went here with for my mothers birthday and was not disappointed! Our server was very personable and made sure to check on us often. The food was on the pricer side but well Wirth the price, me and my partner shared the tomahawk for 2 ( could have easily fed 3 ) my mother had the lobster tail with a petite filet ( very good from what she said) the lobster was not over cooked and had was pretty meaty. My stepfather has the the ribeye which also had a very good flavor. We shared the sides which were very good as well stand outs were the Brussel sprout and the mashed potatoes, the Mac and cheese was pretty plain and middling to say the least but overall delicious food good cocktails great service
