We have changed up the menu since re-opening this fall [2023] . We are catering more now to our wonderful neighborhood, and neighbors. So be prepared for a totally different menu than the old "579". Christmas Eve dinner. Festive, lively atmosphere without being too loud for easy conversation. Service was excellent, beginning with the accommodation of a late addition guest. Staff was there for every need and question yet never made us feel rushed—even though our meal went past closing. I expected great food and was not disappointed. Oysters were particularly good and French-pressed coffee always adds a great finishing touch. My teenagers had a great time and have a new appreciation for real food. Highly recommend.

We went to the 579 for the first time since it reopened and it was great!! THe food, service and value is definitely worth going back for in the future. Our waiter, Nate, was excellent!

Very good service 2 meals were piping hot ..,.2 lukewarm. Took a long time for the meals to come out and they weren’t very busy tonight. But overall, the test was superb, and we will be back again
