In the tradition of the great European bistros, La Dolce Vita is devoted to providing a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for everything from eight course dinners to coffee and Calvino. "Betts" is a tribute to Elizabeth Schofield, wife of Captain Levi Schofield and our namesake. The space is cozy yet airy and feels like a mix between a restaurant and a very cool home that you’d happily want to reside in all day. Betts is inspired by American dishes we all know and love but reinvented with a thoughtful approach. The menu focuses on freshness, quality and whole foods put out from a predominantly scratch kitchen. Always love spending the evening at La Dolce Vita! I think you need one of those entryway door protectors. The cold wind outside came right inside…and it was really cold! Otherwise, a beautiful night. Can’t wait to return.

This was our first visit to Friar's Table and we had a wonderful experience! We love the decor, the service, the food and the very friendly wait staff! I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon with the beets and oranges as a side. My husband and daughter got the beef stew as an appetizer and found it absolutely delicious. The only issue was that my daughter got a lot of beef in her cup and my husband got a lot of broth. But this is an easy fix! In addition, my daughter enjoyed a delicious salad and my husband enjoyed his chicken dish very much! We will be back for sure! Great job everyone!
