Tapas originated in Andalucia, a Southern province of Spain, and are considered a fundamental way of life. These tasty small dishes are traditional Spanish dishes found in every bar, cafe, restaurant, and home. A tapa is an appetizer or snack in Spanish cuisine that can be combined to make a full meal and can be cold (such as mixed olives and cheese) or hot (such as gambas al ajillo (shrimp in garlic) or patatas bravas). All of our dishes are house-made with the freshest ingredients and we proudly support our local farmers and fishermen. We are housed in an original Quonset Hut, built in 1942 as part of the US Navy’s PT-Boat Training Center at Melville. The space was converted into a restaurant over 30 years ago and began operation as The Gulf Stream Bar and Grille in May 2016.

E’stata una notte fredda la macchina e stata presa da un cameriere e siamo andati.Una notte perfetta per uno ciotola di pasta e un Martini secco di ossa che e sempre perfetto.ll servizio come al solito era eccezionale e il pasto molto buono fino all’ Expresso piu si potrebbe chiedere per un mercoledi sera fredda.Per completare il servizio noto che stavamo per partire e aveva la macchina pronta per andare Grazie ancora Camille Bravo!
