Entrees were superb as were first course pastas. Beet salad also a hit with those who had them. Owners and staff make you feel welcome and care about your experience. Lots of choices for Italian food in Chicago but Il Girasole definitely a top one.

I’ve been to Kamehachi many times, and they always seem to maintain their quality. The tuna tacos are spectacular, as well as the sliced tuna with avocado. Also love the beef and asparagus rolls. Service was quite good last night. I’m always amazed at how quickly they refill empty water glasses! Prices have gone up in the past year, which disappoints.

We were welcomed and seated, with the menu explained, and questions answered, and recs given when asked! We started with cocktails and wine (free corkage night!). We shared the escargot and the charcuterie board. What a beautiful selection of cheeses!! Our entrees included Whitefish, the Berkshire pork chop, and the garlic prawns. Everyone was delighted with the choices, which we also shared!! Our server, Mylene, was excellent, with great timing of courses! We were never rushed. Staff members mad it a point to stop by the table to say hello and check on any needs we had. Overall, a fabulous evening of food and new tastes!!
