The hostess was extremely accommodating and we 3 sat at the bar in time for happy hour priced drinks and some appetizers. All were tasty and innovative. She then was able to seat us at our table next to the window a good hour and a half early. Stephen, the bartender/waiter, was amazing in the way he mixed the drinks and served us. Ashley, our waitress, was so friendly and informative about the menu. The female som suggested the perfect wine to pair with a lamb dish, bolongnese pasta dish and a chorizo stuffed squid with crab ravioli-- who knew an unoaked Italian chardonnay would be perfect with all three!! The pasta was, of course, perfectly cooked, the lamb (my friend saved a small chunk for me to taste) was perfectly cooked and sooo tender!\nThe wine menu was as exciting as the food menu. I loved how they grouped several Italian wines into their wine growing regions. I have never seen so many Italian wines in one menu. The menu itself was gorgeous. The cover was made with Italian boar skin and the rivets holding the menu together was a work of art. I wanted to buy one but, unfortunately, they were not for sale. Which led me to think of \"confiscating\" one but the som explained to me how much work the staff do to the leather every week to keep it supple and looking so nice. Definitely will come back every time we come to Vegas. We have done high tea/ afternoon tea everywhere in Vegas (Bellagio, Mandarin Orient and more) we like the food here the best. Japanese dessert are light and not overly sweet. My wife and I took our two boys there for breakfast. It could not have been any better. Such a nice escape from the rest of the strip.
