Our family was born in Oaxaca and migrated to the US in 1994. Ever since then, our goal has been to showcase not only our family recipes, but also the hard work and dedication that goes into each of them. Each year, we travel to Oaxaca, and hand pick our ingredients, and carefully select the people we partner with. Guelaguetza is a restaurant, boutique market, and advocates for Oaxacan culture located in the heart of Korea-town in Los Angeles.     The atmosphere was energetic and vibrant, with live music adding a great touch to the evening. Our server was incredibly patient and accommodating, especially since we had a large party. Despite being very busy, they never once rushed us and let us enjoy our time there for several hours. The service was top-notch, and the food was delicious. You must try the red and black mole and the seafood soup! I highly recommend making reservations in advance, as it can get quite crowded. Definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for great food and a lively dining experience!

    I have been here before and have received excellent service in the past. They were not that busy this time , yet we had to look for our server many times through out the night . Also, I had the sushi this time around it was not as fresh as times in the past. Still one of my faves from the area, but the quality did dip a bit.
