Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio. Located on Woodward Ave, it's easy to jump on the QLine or walk down to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, or Ford Field. HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love. We’re known for our award-wining Cosmik fries, which are beer battered, sprinkled with our signature cracked black pepper seasoning, and served with a side of warm cheese sauce.     As always, great food, very filling (had to take our apps home 😋) Service was great, and we had an awesome server ‘Alaina’ Nice being asked by other workers/managers how things are or stopping just to chat about restaurant experience All staff very friendly

    The fried chicken sandwich is one of the best! My group and I loved that we could all get different sides to try to go along with the sandwich. The Mac and Sweet Potatoes were our favorite sides! Will definitely be back again.

    The food was fantastic! The seasoning was to spicy on the broiled cod for one in our party, but overall fantastic. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.

    Experience Zuzu was quite an experience! The staff, drinks, food (we had the Walnut Shrimp, Crab & Lobster Tacos, Lobster Sushi Roll and the Lamb Chops) were amazing! The atmosphere was perfect! A return visit is definitely on my radar!

    We had a delicious dinner and Jenny was great! The Bali Bowl, Grilled Cheese was good...the apple slices could have been thinner. We will be back!
