Having recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary on Union Street, Perry’s remains an enormously popular San Francisco institution. Perry Butler initially opened Perry’s in 1969, bringing to Union Street the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood saloons of New York’s Upper East Side. Always a great experience and I eat there often! Emily is an outstanding wait person and the whole crew does a great job. Thats why this is my go to place for all kinds of occasions that are guaranteed to be special at Perry’s! On Union!

Having to order food & beverage via a QR code and then being expected to tip on service for basically food runners seemed a bit unfair. The beers were excellent. The currywurst needed MUCH more curry.

The food and service is always good. The background music was a bit loud throughout dinner. The time when it was loud and should have been loud was when we celebrated a birthday which was really fun. In general the music could be brought down a touch
