Active and bustling, in the "Trattoria Style", this Woodbury location of Butera's offers quality food at a great value. Known for their generous portions of pasta entrees, grilled fare, and fresh fish, Butera's has established a fine reputation as a neighborhood place where guests often see people they know. It is owned and operated by Martin Butera, his wife Laurie, Martin's brother Gary Butera, and partner and chef Nick Zografos. First, Julian is the best server ever! There was a wedding rehearsal dinner in the bar room, so the noise was much greater than normal. Only partially thru our dinner did the adjoining doors get closed. Lamb chops and prime rib were perfect. The sides of potatoes (both roasted and mashed) and asparagus must have been plated well before the main, as they were cool. They need dessert options that do not include ice cream. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.
