Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. The Oakland Bramble cocktail was delicious. The service was impeccable. It was a bit cold inside the restaurant. My Spanish tortilla could have been warmer. My husband was pleased his burger was delicious and fries fresh and portion large! The panna cotta for dessert was delicious.

The very best value for a tasting menu style restaurant. Absolutely delicious courses, great adventurous wine list (with a great sommelier), terrific cocktails, excellent service, in a comfortable, non-stuffy, non-pretentious setting. It gets a little loud as time goes by (especially at a table for our party of 6), but not impossibly so.

We were back to Commis after 8 years and it did not disappoint! Great, state of art food! We will definitely be back again, hopefully sooner!

Every Dish was DELICIOUS! It felt like I was in Santo Domingo! I can't wait to return for more of those Oxtails, the Plantains, and the shrimp criolla!
