The Standard should be called the Gold Standard. The food, service, and atmosphere are always perfect. Last night was no exception. I splurged a bit on their special: Chilean Sea bass over a lemon risotto. The fish, a very generous portion, was cooked to perfection. My husband had salmon that was also prepared expertly. Dessert was a shared slice of decadent cheesecake. Add some yummy craft cocktails, and the result is a great evening! Highly recommend. We are not quite sure how a few people have reviewed this place unfavorably. Well, one person was dissatisfied because they ordered their steak well done, and it wasn't cooked to their liking, so that's on them. Another person felt that, and I quote, "the clientele wasn't what we expected at a $100 per person restaurant." BOO to them. Keep doing what you do, Standard. We approve!!

Lunch was great - all of us ordered different salads with the add-on crab cake. The salads were good and the crab cake was perfect - crispy edges, not a lot of filler, and delicious! Our waiter was attentive and inconspicuous at the same time.
