All the food was delicious. The story told with each dish was so cool. I really enjoyed reading the chef’s notes while eating each course. The whole team was extremely hospitable and being greeted by Chef Lledó was a very nice surprise. However, as other reviews have stated, the final two courses downstairs felt rushed. I was given the check and told to have a nice night in the middle of my final courses. Outside of this it was truly a wonderful dining experience. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. The current dining room experience is an 8-course tasting menu honoring the Mid-Atlantic's bounty. We offer an additional 3-course experience at our bar and bar area tables. Walk-in guests are welcome to enjoy the bar area as well.The Dabney has been awarded one Michelin star every year since 2017, James Beard Foundation Best Chef Mid-Atlantic for Chef Jeremiah Langhorne in 2018, and Washingtonian Magazine's #1 restaurant in 2023. Really a fantastic experience. All the food was delicious. The story told with each dish was so cool. I really enjoyed reading the chef’s notes while eating each course. The whole team was extremely hospitable and being greeted by Chef Lledó was a very nice surprise. However, as other reviews have stated, the final two courses downstairs felt rushed. I was given the check and told to have a nice night in the middle of my final courses. Outside of this it was truly a wonderful dining experience. I will absolutely come back, but I do hope the service for the desert courses is adjusted.
