We had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant on Christmas Day, a day meant to be about love and togetherness. The staff was inflexible regarding their ID policy, insisting on a physical passport for identification. Despite us being visibly older than 21, they refused to accept a Dutch driver’s license or even a photo of our passport. When the bartender called the manager to discuss the issue, she didn’t even greet us upon arriving and came across as very unfriendly. Her exact words were, “You’re not even allowed to sit at the bar without ID.” To make matters worse, we weren’t allowed to stay at the bar even if we only wanted non-alcoholic drinks. To add insult to injury, we later noticed that they marked us as a no-show on the OpenTable app, even though we were clearly present. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This rigid and unwelcoming approach completely ruined our Christmas. What should have been a festive and joyful occasion was instead a frustrating and disheartening experience. We won’t be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this restaurant if they’re looking for a warm and accommodating atmosphere.

Christmas dinner was fabulous. We sat “outside” which was a fully enclosed, tented patio with a clear roof. The ambience was wonderful and the food was delicious. The four of us had a great time. I highly recommend!

We were unfamiliar with Firefly but, based on a good rating from YELP! we decided to try it. There were 5 of us for dinner and the food was outstanding. We opted for the 3 course fixed price menu and each dish was excellent. The waiters were friendly and attentive. The portions were generous enough so that we left satisfied but not stuffed. We'll definitely be back.

Firefly was recommended to me by a friend and it was fantastic. Sat in the outside dining area which was cozy and warm. Food was incredible and service was fast and friendly. Definitely going back.

The place is a nice and quiet, great place for a special occasion. Workers were nice and quick to attend us. The food was amazing.

Everything was amazing. Such a chill and welcoming vibe. Exceeded our expectations. Every staff member was very friendly. Food was out of the world. Recommend the Tuna Tartar and Miso Cod.

This is my all time favorite restaurant in Studio City. Best kept secret. The ambiance is wonderful. The food so so amazing that if I was home, I would have licked my plate. The service is also great. My napkin kept falling off my lap because of my slippery pants. Just like that the waiter was ther 3 times to replace it immediately. Indeed I will be revisiting Firefly often in the new year.
