Five Horses Tavern is conveniently located on Columbus Avenue in Boston's
historic South End, walking distance from the Orange Line, Back Bay Station,
Symphony Hall, Northeastern University, Huntington Theatre, Boston Medical Center and
Prudential Center.

Our bar offers a wide variety of craft beers from around the world,
boasting 40 draft beers, 25 bottles, signature house cocktails and a thoughtfully
selected wine list. You can't go wrong with a local pint paired with our signature fried chicken, pretzel, burger, cornbread and more!
Guests can also enjoy dining on one of the largest seasonal patios

                                                                                                We arrived early to find out I have made the reservation for the following week! They were very accommodating and found a table right away for our party of 8. They changed the channel on the TV to our preference too! We had the burgers, BLT, chicken salad, breakfast quesadilla, fish & chips, and steak and eggs. Everyone was very pleased with their meal. I especially loved my burger--excellent. The "dirty cheese" is awesome! ,

                                                                                                It is a warm cozy neighbourhood gastropub that we enjoyed being at! Was full - without being overcrowded- while we were there (6.45-8.30 on a Friday night). Noise level was busy and buzzy without being distracting. Would definitely go there again

                                                                                                The three of us stopped in for a late night, post-show dinner and enjoyed ourselves immensely — the beer selection is incredible and we will return soon to try brunch!

                                                                                                The sausage and pepperoni pizza is the best that we had had in Boston - with real crumbled Italian sausage (not the sliced stuff that tastes like salami) and a fabuloius crust

                                                                                                Stopped in for a quick dinner before the Boston Speakers Series. Appreciated being able to make a reservation, since it was packed by the time we left . Service was quick and friendly. Food was good, with reasonable prices for drinks as well. Would return again.

                                                                                                Chicke. Marsala wasn’t chicken Marsala, chicken curry was ok spicy but no other real flavor. Needed carrots. Tatter tots were very good and gin & jam drink delicious!!! I know next time to ask for the Bar area the back hallway and run by the bathroom had no ambience. Needs decoration to feel welcoming.
