Using a combination of classic Italian dishes, family recipes passed down for generations, and warm hospitality, Dolce Italia has built a reputation in Sarasota as a destination for anyone seeking great food and ambiance. In 2015 Matthew joined as manager of the front of house and is now a managing partner of Dolce Italia. The kitchen staff trained by Tiziana from the beginning are still with the restaurant with Maria being the capocuoco.

- EElisabettaRoma •1 recensione5.0Visitato il giorno 25 apr 2025Non cerchiamo mai e dico mai ristoranti italiani all'estero, se vogliamo mangiare bene e italiano sappiamo di dover rimanere in Italia ma ogni tanto, soprattutto se il viaggio è un pò più lungo ci va un pò di pizza e sappiamo anche in questo caso che è una vera impresa trovarne di decente ma qui dobbiamo assolutamente ricrederci...e non solo per la pizza. Sembrava di stare in una ottima pizzeria in Italia!! Allora come prima cosa atmosfera molto carina, così come il locale, con musica dal vivo (fino alle 21 perchè i ristoranti a Sarasota da ciò che ho capito chiudono molto resto), servizio davvero veloce e gentilissimi, e soprattutto il cibo....ottimo davvero!!! Abbiamo preso di antipasto un piccolo tagliere in tre con salumi e formaggi: eccellente, prosciutto e salame come a casa, il tutto con aggiunta di ottimi pistacchi. E la protagonista: la pizza BUONISSIMA (tre margherite) dall'impasto alle materie prime tutto eccezionale, mi aspettavo una mozzarella industriale o un pomodoro un pò acido ed invece tutto buonisssssssimo!!! Si meritano tantissimi complimenti e davvero piacevole trovare all'estero pizzerie così buone!
